Privacy Policy

The short version: I collect what I need to quote your job and show up at the right address. I use it to do the work and follow up with you. I don't sell it, rent it, or trade it to anyone.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Green Clean Machine ("Green Clean Machine," "we," "I," or "me"), an owner-operated exterior property maintenance business based in McKinney, Texas. It covers information collected through greencleanmachinetx.com, by phone and text message, and through quote request forms on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.

Information I collect

Information you give me directly

• Your name — so I know who I'm talking to.
• Your phone number — this is how I send your quote and confirm scheduling.
• Your email address, if you provide one.
• Your service address — I can't quote or perform exterior work without knowing where the property is.
• Details about the job — what needs cleaning, how soon you want it done, and any notes or photos you send me.
• Photos of your property that you text or upload so I can price the work from a photo instead of driving out.

Information collected through Facebook and Instagram lead forms

If you tap a quote button on one of my Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta shows you an instant form. When you submit it, Meta passes me the answers you filled in — typically your name, phone number, street address, the service you need and your preferred timing. Meta may pre-fill some of those fields from your own profile; you can edit or clear them before you submit. Meta's handling of that data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, not this one.

Information collected automatically

My website is a simple, mostly static site. Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed. If you reach the site by clicking an ad, the advertising platform that sent you may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How I use your information

• To prepare and send you a price for the work you asked about.
• To schedule the job, get to the right property, and let you know when I'm on the way.
• To send you before-and-after photos of the completed work.
• To invoice you and keep the records I'm required to keep for taxes.
• To follow up if you asked for a quote and I haven't heard back, or to check in about seasonal or repeat service.
• To answer questions, resolve problems and honor any warranty on the work.

What I don't do

• I don't sell your personal information. Not to lead brokers, not to marketers, not to anyone.
• I don't share your contact details with other contractors or "matching" services.
• I don't post your address or identifying details. If I share a before-and-after photo of a job on Facebook or my website, I show the work — not house numbers, not street signs, not your name — unless you specifically tell me it's fine.

When I do share information

I share your information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers I use to run the business — for example invoicing and payment processing, scheduling tools, and the website host. They only get what they need to do their job for me.
• Payment processors — if you pay by card, the card details go directly to the processor. I never see or store your full card number.
• Advertising platforms — Meta receives lead form submissions as described above, because the form lives on their platform.
• When the law requires it — in response to a valid legal request, or to protect someone's safety or my legal rights.

How long I keep it

I keep quote requests and customer records for as long as I need them to serve you and to meet tax and business record requirements — generally several years for invoices and payment records, in line with Texas and federal recordkeeping rules. If you asked for a quote and never became a customer, you can ask me to delete your information and I will.

How your information is protected

Your information lives in password-protected accounts on the business tools I use, and on my own devices, which are secured. Because I'm a one-person operation, no employees or subcontractors have access to it. No system is perfectly secure, but I don't keep more than I need and I don't pass it around.

Your choices and your rights

You can, at any time:

• Ask me what information I have about you.
• Ask me to correct anything that's wrong.
• Ask me to delete your information, unless I'm legally required to keep a record of a completed transaction.
• Tell me to stop contacting you — by text, phone or email.

Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Whether or not a small owner-operated business like mine is formally covered by that law, I'll honor these requests regardless. Just call or text me and I'll take care of it — there's no form to fill out.

Children

My services are sold to property owners and residents. This website and my ads are not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle information, I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

This policy describes Green Clean Machine's actual business practices. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. If your obligations change — for example if you begin using new tracking tools or a customer database — this page should be updated to match.
